Thompson Sound presents a new LP release entitled CAN’T STOP NATTY DREAD by the Jamaican roots artist BARRY BROWN. A set of 14 songs recorded in Jamaica at Maxfield Avenue in the legendary Channel One recording studio backed by Roots Radics.
An LP including tracks voiced by Barry Brown and produced by Linval Thompson during the late 70’s and early 80’s. A tracklist full of classics, like “Please Officer,” “Ketch A Fire,” “Free Dreadlocks” and “Can’t Stop Natty Dread,” which gives name to the album.
All the vocals and dubs in this set were mixed at King Tubby’s back in the day. Here comes Bary Brown… In fine style!
